Reassign for further updates to Case details or documents

It may be possible for Law Firm to reassign the case back to the Beneficiary or Petitioner/Employer in case if

  • Some information is missing
  • Details are not matching with documents provided
  • In accuracies found in the information provided
  • Missing required documents
  • On request of Petitioner/Employer/Beneficiary

In such situation, the case will be made editable for Beneficiary or Petitioner/Employer depends on whom the case is reassigned by the Law Firm.

The assignee is expected to complete the action via ‘Actions’ menu. Refer to ‘Submit Questionnaire’ section for further help.

Re-Assign to Beneficiary

As a Petitioner/Employer, you can assign a Case back to the Beneficiary to provide any missing information or documents.

In some cases, the Case may be Re-assigned by the Law Firm to the Petitioner/Employer. Reviewing the comments made by the Law Firm, the updates can be either made by Petitioner/Employer or Re-Assign it to the Beneficiary.

When assigning the Case back to Beneficiary, a popup will be opened to input the notes to convey the purpose of Re-Assigning Case back to Beneficiary.
